the route

As at October 2010, our route across the Pacific is still very flexible. In response to friends and family who are dreaming of joining us, however, we have compiled this rough list of where we plan to be and when.

It is really important that we stress how *rough* a list this is. We have many more hours of planning before us. Like any sailors, we will be at the mercy of the weather and the waves. Like any travellers, we will be at the mercy of our whims and fancies. Most importantly, we are extremely open to advice and opinions (especially educated advice and opinions), so please feel free to let us know what you think of our plan…

  •  February 2011: leave CT for La Paz, Mexico
  • 21 February 2011: leave La Paz to explore Sea of Cortez and Mexican coast.
  • 20 March 2011: leave Mexico for Galapagos Islands
